David Barton shows us that even though his adopted daughter declared that one might as well question the patriotism of George Washington as question his Christianity, nevertheless, through the work of secularists and revisionists
who ignore eyewitness accounts and documented writings, George Washington – and other Founding Fathers – has wrongly been labeled “deist.” The historical records – including those here at the Capitol – clearly demonstrate otherwise.
